Betting whilst an event is happening is one of the main changes in the betting revolution that has been brought about by the exchanges. Horse race markets are increasingly popular for what is known as "in-running" betting. The markets will be particularly liquid during the Cheltenham Festival with people betting during the race right up to the finish line, or indeed even after the finish line if a photo finish is called.
Anything can happen with in-running betting. Short priced "certs" can get turned over near the line, last fence fallers can cause havoc in the market and horses may drift spectacularly from their SP during a race before going on to win.
Famously, in the first race at the 20006 Cheltenham Festival, the winner Noland came from nowhere to land the opener. The horse was matched at 999/1 during the race.

This course really is essential for anybody who wants to be serious about their in-running horse race betting.
WHAT
The Elitebet Gruss course offers a three hour evening training session aimed at serious horse racing traders in a classroom setting using Gruss, a state of the art betting exchange software package.
Please note, this is not a course for beginners. The class assumes that delegates already have a good grasp of the betting exchange concept.
The course will give full tuition on how to get the most from the software package, trading techniques and strategies.
Importantly, each delegate will be seated at his/her own trading workstation for the evening comprising of a high speed PC with fast broadband connection as well as a separate flat screen TV on which to view the action close up.
The course runs in parallel with an evening race meeting so you can practice as you learn the software and seek further advice as questions arise.
WHERE
All Elitebet Gruss courses are held in the Elitebet Betting Exchange Trading Centre in Highgate, North London. The facility, the busiest such venue for in-running punters inside the M25, is equipped with 18 high-speed internet terminals. Every workstation is also fitted with a personal LCD TV streaming the widest possible range of feeds from live sporting events.
Elitebet is just two minutes from Highgate tube station on the Northern Line. The trading room also has FREE on-street evening parking just two minutes away.
WHEN
The Elitebet Gruss course will be held Thursday February 21st.
The evening will begin at 7pm and finish at 10pm to allow delegates with traditional employment ample time to attend.

WHO
The course is hosted by two accredited Betfair Academy trainers with longstanding experience of betting exchange software. The Elitebet Gruss course also features a segment led by an experienced in-running professional trader who has successfully bet on horse racing for more than two years.
The Elitebet Gruss course director is an experienced 41-year-old betting exchange trainer Stuart McIntyre. Stuart from Bexleyheath, South East London, became an accredited trainer for leading betting exchange Betfair in May 2006. The former City of London IT manager offers special betting expertise in the use of one click betting packages. |

COST
The Elitebet Gruss course costs just £99 to attend. This cost is partly refundable against a delegate's first monthly subscription to the Elitebet Betting Exchange Trading Room.
We also feel it is a modest price to pay to ensure you are staying abreast of the latest developments in the in-running betting revolution.
Personal Tuition:
Elitebet also offer one-on-one personal tuition for betting exchange traders at a cost of £40 per hour. Discounted rates per person are available for small groups.
Tuition is provided by Elitebet's official betting exchange trainer Stuart McIntyre and covers every level of expertise from betting exchange beginners to advanced software package trading techniques.
Appointments can be made at any time to meet the needs of clients and all tuition is provided in the professional dedicated gambling environment of the Elitebet trading room.
